Rinkuru v0.5.3/Rinkuru Pronouns and dialogues

nintendo

For those a little out of the loop, Rinkuru is the Japanese name of the female Link we know as Linkle from the Hyrule Warriors games. She has since been adapted to simply be the female version of Link. If you have been disappointed that you cannot play as a woman in Kingdom tears, these two mods actually add a female option. Rinkruru v0.5.3 is a complete swap of models from Link to Rinkruru, including new outfits and even some weapons. The companion mod, Rinkuru Pronouns and Dialogue, changes all instances of in-game dialogue from referring to your character as Link, he, sir, and all other male pronouns are swapped to Rinkuru, she, lady, and so on to fully immerse you as the heroine of Hyrule.

Yet another Better Sage Mod with voices

Yet another top Essay Mods

There are tons of Sages mods out there for Kingdom tears, as the name points out, but this offers the best value for money. First, change all the Sages from their most ethereal colors to their original designs to look more like real characters. Adding with Yet Another Better Sages Mod With Voices are voices, which take their original voice lines and add them when doing things like activating skills. This is just a cosmetic change, so don’t expect the Sages to do anything new or crazy, but it really does make you feel like you have a full party on the road with you.

ships [BETA]

nintendo

There are many references to the previous one Zelda titles inside Kingdom tears, yet nothing for our most beloved fairy Navi. This Navi [BETA] mod is still very early days but is working on fully integrating your slightly annoying companion of Ocarina of time in the current game. As of the current version, Navi is just a static model with no animation, but future updates include the addition of winglets and the ability for her to circle Link just like her N64 counterpart. The only requirement for this mod is that Navi only shows up if you have a bow equipped. It doesn’t matter which bow, but it’s a small obstacle.

Thumbs up, hero!

nintendo

Nintendo gave us the ability to take selfies Kingdom tears, but a criminally limited number of poses we could put Link in. Thumbs up, hero! mod is about as simple as it gets: replace the face-up pose with Link doing a cool thumbs-up pose with a big smile. What else is there to say? You earned it, hero!

Tulins sniper rifle (bow replacement)

nintendo

What’s the only thing Kingdom tears lacks? Guns. Okay, so maybe that wasn’t at the top of your mind, and even mod creator Tulins Sniper Rifle (Bow Replacement) says they just thought it was pretty funny. Despite the name, you can actually turn both Tulins’ Great Eagle Bow and the regular Great Eagle Bow into a gun, even if the animations look a little off. Unlike other low-effort mods that just put a modern gun model into games, this shotgun looks remarkably well-designed and appropriate for this version of Hyrule. This won’t change the function or power of the weapon, but it’s still great to see Tulin or Link pull this magical looking sniper out to fire shots.

Resurrection of the dark army

nintendo

Kingdom tears it can be tough in the beginning and the depths add more challenge in the mid-game, but eventually you’ll start to overwhelm everything the game can throw at you. Since there are no difficulty options for those looking for a tougher experience by default, the Dark Army Resurrection mod can bring that tension back to you. This mod will introduce a number of stats and changes to increase the difficulty, such as taking double damage while dealing only 25%, new Stal enemy types, requiring keys to open chests, losing keys and Zonites on death, and more. If you really think you’re the hero of Hyrule, give this mod a shot and see how you really fare.
